Specific Vehicle Body Faults and Troubleshooting Methods
Release Date:2026-04-10 Source: View count:10
Fault 1: Vehicle Speed Cannot Increase and Weak Climbing Power
Causes: 1. Low power of the chassis battery; 2. Overheating of the motor, motor controller and high-voltage distribution box.
Troubleshooting Method: Check the SOC value of the battery displayed on the screen; charge the battery if it is lower than 20%.
Fault 2: Insufficient Braking Force and Slow Braking
Causes: 1. Excessively large gap between the brake shoe and the brake drum; 2. The brake shoe is contaminated by oil and water, the brake drum is out of round, and the fit with the brake shoe is poor; 3. Deformed brake shoes and excessive wear of the brake shoes; 4. Insufficient brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir; 5. Air in the brake circuit.
Troubleshooting Methods: 1. Adjust the gap; if the gap is unstable, check whether the spring leaf is deformed or loses elasticity, and replace it if necessary; 2. Clean or sand the oil-contaminated surface, and replace the brake shoe if necessary; 3. Bore or replace the brake drum; the cylindricity of the brake drum shall not be greater than 0.12mm; 4. Replace damaged parts; 5. Add brake fluid; 6. Bleed the brake circuit.
Fault 3: Brake Deviation
Causes: 1. Unequal gaps between the left and right wheel brake shoes and brake drums; 2. Dirt or sintering on the surface of individual brake pads, resulting in uneven braking force on the left and right wheels; 3. Other factors affecting insufficient braking force of individual wheels or factors not related to the braking system itself; 4. Unequal air pressure of left and right tires.
Troubleshooting Methods: 1. Readjust; 2. Clean with gasoline or alkaline water, remove the sintered layer on the surface of the friction plate with No. 2 coarse sandpaper or saw blade, and replace if necessary; 3. Find the cause and eliminate it; 4. Inflate and adjust.
Fault 4: Battery Dead or Insufficient Charging
Causes: 1. Loose or damaged wires between the battery and the ignition switch or between the battery and the ground; 2. Complete discharge of the battery; 3. Damage to the DC-DC module of the high-voltage distribution box or loose wires.
Troubleshooting Methods: 1. Replace the wire and tighten the connection wire; 2. Replace the battery; 3. Replace the DC-DC module or repair the wire.
Fault 5: Work Light Not Working
Causes: 1. Poor circuit contact or blown fuse; 2. Damaged bulb.
Troubleshooting Methods: 1. Check the circuit, eliminate poor contact or replace the fuse; 2. Replace the bulb.
Fault 6: Sweeping Disc Rotates Too Slowly or Not At All
Causes: 1. Sweeping disc motor control failure; 2. Blown fuse.
Troubleshooting Methods: 1. Check the circuit and handle it; 2. Replace the fuse.
Fault 7: Poor Cleaning Effect, Sand Leakage or Brush Marks
Causes: 1. Suction pipe blockage; 2. Dust removal blockage; 3. Suction pipe rupture or air leakage of the vacuum system; 4. Excessively large ground clearance of the suction nozzle during operation; 5. Improper inclination angle or rotation speed of the sweeping disc; 6. Excessively high driving speed; 7. Too low fan speed.
Troubleshooting Methods: 1. Clean the suction pipe and eliminate blockage; 2. Eliminate blockage; 3. Replace the suction pipe and check and repair the seals of each interface; 4. Adjust the ground clearance of the suction nozzle; 5. Adjust the inclination angle and rotation speed of the sweeping disc; 6. Reduce the driving speed; 7. Manually rotate the fan speed control knob to increase the fan speed.
Fault 8: Large Dust Emission
Cause: 1. Fan seal failure.
Troubleshooting Method: 1. Check the tightness at the suction pipe and handle it.
Fault 9: Poor Dust Suppression Effect
Causes: 1. No water spray from the nozzles on the sweeping disc; 2. Rupture or serious leakage of the water pipeline; 3. Water pipeline blockage and insufficient water volume; 4. Damaged water pump; 5. Damaged water pump motor or motor circuit failure.
Troubleshooting Methods: 1. Check whether the nozzle is blocked; 2. Check the water pipeline and replace the broken water pipe; 3. Clean the water filter and water pipeline to ensure unobstructed pipelines; 4. Repair or replace the water pump; 5. Repair or replace the motor or check the motor circuit.
